Drawing inspiration from Proverbs 31:10, the organization believes every girl is an invaluable treasure. **Educational Empowerment**

At the core of Above All Rubies is a meticulously curated thrift store, offering a variety of high-quality, second-hand items. Our inventory ranges from clothing and accessories to home décor and vintage treasures, complete with a tea bar. This thrift store is a place for the community to uncover unique finds while supporting sustainable and eco-conscious shopping habits.
What distinguishes Above All Rubies is our dedication to providing young women within the organization with opportunities for skill development. Our distinctive volunteer program allows participants to gain practical experience in several facets of thrift store management, including:
1. **Visual Merchandising:** Master the art of crafting visually attractive displays and organizing items to elevate the shopping experience.
2. **Customer Service:** Hone exceptional customer service skills by assisting customers, guiding them to the ideal items, and fostering a hospitable environment.

Above All Rubies curated thrift transcends being just a store; it's a community center. We organize events, workshops, and discussions designed to empower young women and cultivate community spirit. The revenue from our thrift store is directly allocated to support the mission of Above All Rubies, which includes providing educational resources, mentorship programs, and community initiatives designed to empower young women to achieve their full potential.
Our recent baking activity brought together girls from various backgrounds to learn, create, and have fun in the kitchen! Hosted by our dedicated volunteers, this hands-on event introduced participants to the basics of baking, including measuring ingredients, following recipes, and decorating delicious treats.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter and learning as each girl crafted their own baked goods, gaining not only culinary skills but also confidence and teamwork. Highlights included making colorful cupcakes, decorating cookies, and enjoying the sweet fruits of their labor.

Holly is the sweetest young lady who is always full of smiles. She loves long conversations and Peppa Pig!
Our November lesson focused on Matthew 7:24, emphasizing the importance of building one's foundation on a rock. The girls learned that a strong foundation is crucial for our faith, achievable through the love offered by Jesus Christ. We constructed gingerbread houses and conducted a live demonstration to illustrate the significance of a solid foundation. The lunch was a joyful occasion, brimming with love and laughter.

This holiday season, Above All Rubies hosted a heartwarming Christmas activity and party, transforming our space into a magical winter wonderland for the girls we hold dear. 🌟❄️
The festivities kicked off with a creative Christmas craft session, where our girls joyfully adorned ornaments and crafted personalized decorations, adding a touch of their unique sparkle to the season. Laughter and holiday cheer echoed through the room as the girls embraced the spirit of giving by creating handmade gifts for each other.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, our space twinkled with fairy lights and the warmth of friendship. The Christmas party commenced with joyful carol singing, dance-offs, and the delightful aroma of holiday treats filling the air. Santa made a special appearance, spreading joy and gifting each girl a small token of encouragement.
Amidst the festive ambiance, our Above All Rubies family shared laughter, love, and the joy of sisterhood. The Christmas celebration was not just an event but a reflection of the bond we've built — a tapestry of dreams, aspirations, and shared moments.
